Presidents' Day Books for Kids
Presidents' Day in the United States is observed on the third Monday of February each year.
It's a day we set aside each year to celebrate and honor all of our Presidents of the United States of America, but did you know that the holiday is officially "Washington's Birthday"?
It's true! This federal holiday dates all the way back to 1879 and coincides with George Washington's birthday on February 22, 1732.
Fun holidays like Presidents' Day can be excellent times to learn something new with your kids! With that in mind, here are a few book ideas, activities, and even a great unit study you can enjoy! They're all great ways to learn more about our US Presidents!
