National Parks Gift Guide for Kids

Have a kid on your gift list who loves exploring our National Parks?

Let us help you find a great gift for them!

Beautiful scenery, epic waterfalls, fabulous hikes, and so much more, there's so much to love about our National Parks!

There are so many things to do, see, and experience at our National Parks AND there are so many things to LEARN!  That learning does NOT need to be boring.  We love getting kids excited about our National Parks and want to help you do the same!

The following are our top 5 gift ideas to help get kids EXCITED about our National Parks while they learn all about them at the same time!

1.  Stamp Your Way through the USA Passport Books

More than just your ordinary passport book, Stamp Your Way's passport books are regionally specific and include tons of amazing facts about our National Parks, as well as room for your kids to record notes about the wonderful things they see and learn in our parks.  Of course, they also have a place for your kids to place the passport stamps for each park.  You can snatch the complete set on Amazon here or grab each book separately too!

What are National Parks Passport Stamps you may ask?  They're similar to an official international passport book in that you can stamp your passport with each new destination.  Each park you visit will have a minimum of one passport stamp for that particular park.  Some of them have many more, I think we maxed out at 5 one time between a National Trail stamp for a trail that park was included within, special anniversaries, events, and others.  And the stamps are dated, so you'll always have an easy reminded of when you visited each park.  It's truly one of my favorite things to collect from our National Parks and passport books like Stamp Your Way through the USA give you a great way to collect them!

2.  National Parks of the USA by Kate Siber

Your kids (and you!) will swoon over the lovely drawings inside this book all about our National Parks.  Packed with maps, interesting facts, and Kate Siber's gorgeous artwork, National Parks of the USA will have your kids more excited about our National Parks with every turn of the page.  You and your kids will turn to this book again and again to learn about our National Parks!

3.  Traveling the Parks National Park Curriculum by the Waldock Way

In this fun-filled curriculum you'll find oodles of book recommendations, activity sheets, video links, games, animal profiles, maps, and more.  This is the perfect open and go curriculum to help you learn about all of our parks or just study each park as you prepare to visit it.  You'll need the book America's National Parks to accompany it.  If you're looking for a unit study approach to help you get your kids excited about our National Parks Travelling the Parks is a perfect solution for you!

4.  Trekking the National Parks Board Game
